He was on the left leg while been taken down in the pocket by the Chiefs’ safety: Bernard Pollard. Brady had started for 128 games straight, but left the field gripping his left knee and limping. Additional details are not available at this time; the severity of the injury is not known. Matt Cassel replaced Brady. Baseball 9/8/08 Seattle Mariners are without their starting pitcher Carlos Silva due to injury. The player was scheduled to play against the New York Yankees, but had to be removed from the list and was replaced by left-handed Ryan Feierabend for the game. Silva was reported as saying that he was experiencing a sharp pain in his upper back. He comes to the Mariners are a new transfer this season, after signing a 4-year deal for $48 million.
